Dolphin and Leinster Short Course

A sucessful start to the season for the club down in Cork at the 3 day Dolphin Gala (14-16 October).  Competing mainly against munster clubs, New Ross made the transfer across province well worth their while.

Congratulations to medal winners;  Denis Kilbride, Jack Nolan Whitney, Jack Coode, Start Vaughan and Eoin Bergin, Cillian Foley for the boys and Min Allen, Sadhbh Bailey, Abi Cullen, Jessica Tootlhill, Rurth Kelly, Caoimhe Daly, Caoimhe Connolly, Deirbhille Cruise, Niamh Fogarty and Clodagh Quirke for the girls.

22 swimmers, 179 swims.   22 medals for Individual events: 6 Gold,  10 Silver and 6 Bronze.  As well as 1 Gold,  2 silver and 2 bronze in the relay events.

Another great weekend  was had in the NAC at the Leinster short course (29-30 October) 

Again Congratulations to podium placements : Jack Coode Denis Kilbride Cian Foley Derv Cruise Jack Nolan Whitney On their Medals at The Open Senior Championships. 

Outcome of this event:

15 Swimmers, 98 Swims,  72 Personal Best Swims,  6 Medals 2 Silver 4 Bronze and 23 Top 10 Places.  Important for the season ahead the club have gained 10 New Qualification Times for National Short Course Championships with 1 additional Swimmer to the team qualified. So a very big well done to all and as always  many thanks to Head Coach Fran Ronan for her guidance as well as Asst Coaches Steve Cruise and Paul Allen.
